DAVIS 2-RUN HOMERUN IN TOP OF 7TH PUTS CHAFFEY INTO THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Spokane scored the tieing and go ahead run in the bottom of the sixth to take a 5-4 lead going into the top of the 7th, Kasey Bielec with one out drew a walk, Dylan Davis came to the plate and hit a line drive homerun over the scoreboard in left for the tieing and go ahead runs. Dylan ended the game going 2-for-4 with a triple, homerun and a pair of RBI's.

Chaffey opened the game in the top of the 1st scoring 4-runs, Chris Guinn doubled into right center, Michael Conforto then homered into right center, Dylan Davis then tripled into right center and scored when Dylan LaVelle singled into left, Bubba Jones then hit a fielders choice moving Dylan into second, Robbie Ingram followed with a single up the middle and gave Chaffey a 4-0 lead. Chris ended the game going 2-for-4 with a double, and Bubba Jones went 3-for-4.

Spokane Dodgers scored a single run in the third, 2-runs in the the and 2-more runs in the sixth to take the 5-4 lead.

Zach Abbruzza started the game and threw the first 4-innings allowing 2-earned runs. JoJo Howie came in and threw 1.2 innings also allowing 2-earned runs, Obi Taylor threw the final 1.1 innings facing 6-batters and not allowing a hit or a run to score.

The win over the Spokane Dodgers puts Chaffey into the Championship game tomorrow night at Bannerwood Park with the game starting at 7:00 pm.

CHAFFEY MOVES TO 4-0 IN BRANDY PUGH TOURNAMENT

Chaffey remained undeated in the Brandy Pugh Memorial Tournament with an 8-2 win over Baden Baseball at Bannerwood Park.

Robbie Ingram lead Chaffey offensively going 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and 3-RBI's.

Boaden scored on run in the top of the inning, in the bottom of the 2nd Bubba Jones was hit-by-a-pitch, Dylan LaVelle hit a fielders choice forcing Bubba out at 2nd, Cody Reed then singled into left, Robbie then hit one of his two-double into right scoring both Dylan and Cody, Seth Heck then hit a ball into the hole at short that was miss-played and reached first on an error, Mitchell Gunsolus then singled into left scoring Robbie and giving Chaffey a 3-1 lead.

Dylan Davis hit a solo-homerun in the bottom of the 3rd to extend Chaffey's lead to 4-1.

Chaffey put two more runs on the board in the 4th when Cody Reed reached first on an error, Robbie then singled into left, Seth hit into a fielders choice forcing Robbie out at 2nd and advancing Cody into 3rd. On an attempted pick-off at 1st Seth got into a run-down allowing Cody to score from 3rd and Seth moved into 2nd, Chris Guinn came to the plate and on a dropped third strike the catchers throw hit Chris in the back allowing Seth to score, and giving Chaffey a 6-1 lead.

In the bottom of the 5th Chaffey it's final two runs of the game when Bubba Jones doubled into right, Dylan LaVelle then followed with a double down the left field line scoring Bubba, Robbie sinlged into left scoring Dylan from 2nd for Robbie's 3rd RBI of the game.

Max Englebrekt went the distance only allowing 1-earned run and facing 25 batters for the win. The defense behind Max turned 3-double plays to help his cause.

Chaffey will be playing the Spokane Dodgers in there final game in pool play with a 5:00 pm start at B.C.C. Zach Abbruzza will be taking the mound for Chaffey.

CHAFFEY WINS WITH BUBBA JONES WALK-OFF HOMERUN

Bubba Jones in the bottom of the 7th with the games knotted at 5-a piece came to the plate and on the first pitch thrown to him hit the ball onto the street in right field for the winning run of the game. Bubba ended the game going 2-for-4with a triple and homerun and accounted for 4-RBI's.

Chaffey scored first in the bottom of the 1st when Michael Conforto hit a solo-homerun onto the bank in right field. Michael ended the game going 1-3 with a homerun.

The Stars tied the game in the 2nd inning and scored 3-more runs in the 4th to take a 4-1 lead.

In the 5th inning Seth Heck singled into left, Chris Guinn and Dylan Davis both drew walks to load the bases. Bubba tripled into right center with 2-outs and emptied the bases, Dylan LeValle then singled into left scoring Bubba to give Chaffey back the lead at 5-4. Dylan went 2-for-2 with 1-RBI.

In the top of the 6th inning the Stars scored a solo run to knot the game at 5-5. In top of the seventh Chaffey held the Stars and put the game into Bubba's hands.

Dylan Davis threw the first 4.1 innings only allowing 2-hits - one of which was a miss-played fly ball, and striking out 5-batters. Conner Campbell came in and threw the final 2.2 innings not allowing a hit and striking out 4-batters.

Chaffey will be playing Baden Baseball tomorrow morning at Bannerwood Park with the start time of 11:00am, Max Engelbrekt will be starting for Chaffey.
