CHAFFEY DROPS FINAL GAME WITH DANVILLE

Chaffey dropped it's final game in the Josh Anderson Memorial Tournament to the Danville Hoots 10-3.
In the Championship Round he teams cross over in to the other Division and play the team with the corresponding record. Danville scored 5-runs in first inning, 1-run in the 3rd and 2-runs each in the 4th and 6th innings.
Mitchell Gunsolus doubled into right and scored when Anthony Blackie singled into left. Mitchell finished the game going2-for-3, Anthony had a pair of RBI's.
Chaffey also scored in the 5th when Conner Campbell drew a walk, Mitchell followed with a single into left moving Conner into 3rd, Conner scored on a fielders choice by Anthony Blackie.
Chris Guinn was named to the all-tournament team and for the player who played the game the "hardests" during the Tournament.
Dyaln Davis threw the first two innings, Max Engelbrekt threw the next 4-innings with Zach Abbruzza throwing the 7th-inning.
Chaffey will be hosting the New Zealand National Team on Tuesday night at 5:00 pm at the Univeristy of Washington.

CHAFFEY DROPS LAST GAME IN POOL PLAY

Chaffey dropped there last game in pool play to the Oklahoma Travelers 5-0 at the University of Reno tonight.
Oklahoma scored 2-runs in the 2nd inning and 3-more runs in the 3rd.
On the offensive side no runs were scored but Chaffey had opportunities and they continued to battle but, could not put any runs across the board.
Chris Guinn continued to lead Chaffey offensively gong 2-for-3, Dylan Davis had a triple along with Dylan LaVelle and Kasey Bielec.
Evan Hudson threw the first 4-innings, JoJo Howie came in and threw the last 3-innings not allowing a run to score and not allowing a hit.
Chaffey will play he Dnaville Hoots at 9:00 am tomorrow morning at the University of Reno.

CHAFFEY DROPS FIRST GAME IN JOSH ANDERSON

Chaffey dropped its first game in the Josh Anderson Memorial Tournament in a 6-3 loss last night at the University of Reno.
The Reno Knights did all of there scoring in the second and third innings - putting three runs up in each inning. Chaffey uncharastically had 6-errors in the game which contributed to the undoing.
In the 1st Chris Guinn singled with an infield hit and stole second, Dylan Davis then reached first on a fielding error at first base allowing Chris to score Chaffey's first run.
Bubba Jones doubled into right in the 4th, Cody Reed came in for Chance Laboda and tripled into right center scoring Bubba.
Chaffey's last run came in the 5th when Dylan Davis hit a solo-homerun to Chaffey's third run of the game.
Obi Taylor threw the first 2-innings with Anthony Blackie coming in to close the game out.
Chaffey will play the Oklahoma Travelers tonight with a 5:30 pm start time at the University of Reno.
